Abstract: Analytic results for unsteady motion of a Rabinowitsch fluid are obtained considering the variable liquid properties. The Rabinowitsch fluid is assumed to flow in an inclined non- uniform channel in the occurrence of the heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions. The flow under investigation is flowing with the velocity of the wave in the wave frame of reference. The solutions of velocity, temperature, and concentration distribution are derived using the lubri- cation approach. Graphs are drawn for the relevant parameters to explore the characteristics of the velocity field, temperature, and streamlines. It is known that heat is nothing but the mean molecular kinetic energy, and hence the variation in velocity accounts for the corresponding difference in tem- perature. This behavior is noticed from the graphical representations of velocity and temperature profiles.
