Documentum 6.5 Content Management Foundations

Abstract

Two years ago, I wrote Documentum Content Management Foundations to help readers prepare for the E20-120 (EMC Documentum Content Management Foundations) exam. A secondary goal of the book was to provide a gentle introduction to Documentum for new-comers. The key challenge in meeting this goal was to present a large number of concepts, some of them quite complex, in an easy-to-understand form. The book included a significant number of practice questions to support test preparation. The questions were designed to test comprehension and the application of concepts. After the book was released, I used the online community dm_cram (http://dmcram.org) to provide additional test preparation resources and to connect with the readers directly. Direct interaction with the readers and similarly interested community members has provided me with an extremely enriching experience.
